Ceremonies and Services

(Rev.) Sharon is an Ordained, fully-licensed, Non-denominational
Interfaith Minister, legally able and delighted to officiate both traditional
and alternative marriage ceremonies either at the location of your choice
or on-site at her home, ILLUMINATA (see below)

Is a customized wedding ceremony something your heart envisions?

Sharon is happy to meet with couples to discuss their
personal desires and wishes. Truly, it is her joy to assist in
co-creating unique, memorable wedding ceremonies!

Sharon is a current member of The National Association of Wedding Ministers.

On-site Wedding Ceremonies offered at Illuminata
(Sharon's home located in historic Clifton, VA, a suburb of Washington, DC):

Outdoors:

Couples wishing to exchange their vows in Nature may choose
to have their special ceremony officiated outdoors within the
Sacred Stone Circle of lluminata's woods.

Indoors:

For a traditional ceremony, space is available in
Illuminata's small formal living room.

Those desiring a more spiritually-aesthetic environment, may select
to have their ceremony officiated in Illuminata's upstairs sanctum.

* The location of your ceremony, the number of pre-nuptial meetings, and/or rehearsals
determines Sharon's fee. The usual range is between $100 - $300.

Baptism/Christening/Baby-Naming

Whether you desire a traditional or alternative, private or celebratory ceremony,
Sharon will happily officiate this most blessed occasion, making it a sacred,
memorable event for parents, family, guests and, of course, your precious child.

Rites-of-Passage

Maiden, Mother, Crone … graduations, passing the Bar, earning a doctorate degree...starting your own business, special promotions, milestone birthdays.
These are only a few examples of the rites-of-passage we move through
during a lifetime.

Important times deserve recognition, and so do we!
Acknowledging these times (and ourselves), honoring them through
sacred ceremony and celebration, sends a powerful message
of gratitude to the Universe, thanking it for its loving support.
Feel free to contact Sharon with your own ideas or to ask help
in creating a customized rite-of-passage ceremony for you
or a loved one. Fees vary accordingly.

How one copes with the death of a loved one is a very personal and
private matter. No two individuals grieve alike. And that's okay.
Arriving at your home, hospital, nursing home - wherever and whenever
Spirit calls…Sharon offers gentle transition support for both you & your loved one.

Aided by beautiful Messengers of Light and angelic music, Sharon utilizes
the gift of her compassionate heart. Through inner guidance, she intuits the
personal needs of your loved one. Lovingly, prayerfully she comforts their
body/mind as their soul journeys toward Home. Sharon’s training and experience
as a Chaplain enables her to aid grieving family & friends as well.

Sacred Space Clearing & House Blessings

Anytime you physically move into new space is the perfect time
to consider having the area cleared, cleansed, and blessed.
Be it a home, office, or personal workspace, you can arrange to
have Sharon come and energetically clear and cleanse your space.

Using her gift of clairsentience, along with a variety of sacred tools,
Sharon will work to remove existing negativity and get stagnant energy
moving again. You’ll feel the difference immediately! After your space
has been cleared, cleansed, and blessed, Sharon will provide tips
on how you can preserve the sacred energy of your new space.
Fee is dependent upon location and size of space.

Dedication Ceremonies

outdoor sanctuary, or special garden is in the works for you?
If so, once completed, you may wish to consider having Sharon
perform a special dedication ceremony to help celebrate and
seal the sacred intention of your project.

Sacred Healing & Drumming Circles

The drum is the instrument of the heart. The very first memory we have
of sound is the heartbeat of our mother while we were still in her womb.
Studies prove sound can both comforts and heal, and the rhythmic beat
of a drum is transformative. Drumming takes us deep within the inner realms
to a peaceful, transcendent state - one of complete presentness & bliss.

Drumming and Healing Circles are one of Sharon’s specialties.
Her mission is to help people feel safe enough to begin the process of
opening and expanding their hearts. Once opened, the heart begins
to express its true self. Emotions, feelings, joy… often buried deep
in woundedness… begin to make their way to the surface for release
and healing begins. Sharon’s motto is:" first we feel, then we heal."
She is available by appointment to facilitate any size Circle.
Fee varies according to size of Circle and location.

Spiritual Empowerment Coaching

Using a combination of sacred and intuitive techniques, Sharon helps empower individuals by helping them to reconnect with their own inner authority.
Empowerment Sessions can be held either in person or via the phone.
Fee: 1 hour session: $75. 1-1/2 hour session: $90.

Couples/Relationship/Mediation Counseling

Safe, loving, non-abusive communication is essential to all relationships
desiring growth. Just as a garden needs tending if we wish it to produce
fruit, so must we also nurture and care for all of our relationships.
Be it marriage, partnership, or friendship, all need attention in order to thrive.
Sometimes, however, we are tweaked by the behavior or criticism of another.
Old wounds are triggered. We react and blame, rather than respond.
Using developed skills and techniques, Sharon gently redirects couples,
helping them to individually “see” where ownership and responsibility belong.
These 90-min. sessions are held in person.

For those wishing insight into personal issues, Sharon offers
Intuitive Readings. These sessions (approx. 45-60 min. in length)
are not meant to predict or forecast the future, rather they are simply
the result of tapping into the energy or auric field of the individual,
retrieving information, and bringing it back to share with the client.
